Hey All - in case anyone else is having similar issues - I’m running a 4080 and have had black screens, needing a reboot to fix, after launching any game in Bazzite-Nvidia-Open after the recent 570 update. Disabling Adaptive Sync in the Plasma Display & Monitor Settings fixed the issue and everything is running smoothly now.

I’m seeing the same thing. Also on Bazzite-Nvidia-Open. Unfortunately I had Adaptive Sync set to Always which means after a reboot I just got a black screen. Luckily unplugging the HDMI cable and then plugging it back in resets the Plasma display settings and turns Active Sync off. I’ve rolled back to the previous system to get Active Sync working again.

I’ve just arrived to bazzite and other than that everything works beautifully. Mine was set to auto and it took me some time to figure out why my monitor shuts down when my games load 
Works fine on my laptop built in monitor or in windowed mode… I suppose that’s where its not active, while always on kills the monitor completely.
