Not able to load any meaningful data in bazaar

warehouse still seems to be working as intended.

however, when i try to open bazaar i get the following error message:

Could not retrieve remote content: No remotes could be synchronized:

this install is a VM in proxmox as i do not have the option to bare metal, i need proxmox for other things. the GPU passthrough is mostly good, but thats not the main issue. i cannot for the life of me open bazaar.

resolved with an rpm-ostree rollback. seems i won’t be able to update for a while..

Yesterday flatpak was entirely not working. Not through system update nor Bazaar. Thought you were having the same issue but nope, Bazaar is acting up indeed.

I know the argument for Bazaar is “quality of software” but maybe we should return to using whatever Fedora uses. Seems to be of higher quality with the amount of issues people are having with Bazaar.

Edit: Currently working again. Will keep this updated if it gets borked again.

Atleast the flatpak has been working really well. Bluefin and aurora already removed the rpm and rely on the flatpak version now.

performing a system update to test if bazaar is fixed. will update this message with info.

stable and working after the latest update. i consider the issue closed.

It’s great, but still rough around the edges. I always get a crash sooner or later when using the search panel. (kolumni said that should be fixed in the newest version tho, fingers crossed)

It has some cool advantages over GS (such as the image viewer), but I wouldn’t mind using the latter either, for the sake of a more stable and polished experience.

Still, I like it a lot! I just think there’s no real issue with Gnome Software (anymore).
