So I just switched over from Fedora 42 KDE, because why not.
There’s a new issue recently, where my UR22C input became 4 channels, 2 of them are repeating my audio output…
After figuring that out, I just drag 2 of them to 0%.
After switching to Bazzite and updating the OS, the same issue comes back, so I just re-do what I did, mute 2 of the tracks.
HOWEVER. The input audio just keep resetting themselves to the same number, like 4 of them all on 71% for some reason.
(Not allowed to post 2 images on new account but please imagine that pic but 4 channels are all on 71%.)
Usually noticed by friends on Vesktop (Discord client) that I was outputting my system audio.
Worst part, I can’t pinpoint what triggers it. Restart PC doesn’t do it, Replug UR22C either.
The only thing I can reproduce that can accidentally sync 4 channels is by manually scrolling the volume to 0 in taskbar then scroll back, which I’m sure I didn’t do, and even if I did, it’d be incremental by 5 so impossible to stuck on odd value.
Trying repeating every action I do related to audio (starting Firefox playing video etc.), it stays perfectly at 100% 100% 0% 0%…just when I thought I’m in the clear, it resets again. I don’t know when or how, but it keeps happening.
This is probably a KDE issue, but I wasn’t experience it on Fedora, so I’m asking here anyway.
Anyone has a clue what’s going on? Thanks for reading.
