Analog duplex audio no mic input in games

I’m using an x570 board and when I use duplex audio (the only way for both analog output and input to show up) it works fine in something like discord, but Steam doesn’t work with it like this. If I set the microphone to analog input, the output disappears but I can see it’s working in steam, then, but then (another issue) it sounds buggy like the buffer is messing up and it just sounds off/delayed a bit.
So, working in steam settings, it won’t work in-game like in L4D2.

A workaround for having the mic set to analog input but the headphones working at the same time is to connect the headphones to my monitor, then set the output to HDMI for audio output but it’s noisy AF.

I reinstalled bazzite with the desktop only KDE version and it’s working fine now. Good times. I tried POP!_OS, garuda and bazzite game-mode and they all didn’t work but this does.
