Currently this would impact Bazzite, would it not? There are mentions of Gamescope not being supported by the Flatpak version of Steam and Wine issues.

If this were to happen it would impact the functioning of many older games and I presume several emulators.
In that case, couldn’t Bazzite integrate something like Conty by default?
It affects the Steam client and Wine to a degree. Also I was reading that Gamescope doesn’t work with the Flatpak version of Steam.
On desktop, the Flatpak version seems to work just fine for me, but the people using Bazzite on handhelds will have bigger issues if we were forced to use the Flatpak version.
At least that’s my understanding from reading through a bunch of that thread.
