Hello, I just built my first PC and installed Bazzite on it after previously installing Linux Mint Cinnamon on an old laptop. I put one stick of 2TB SSD in it and installed bazzite-nvidia-open with automatic partitioning. Then I opened Dolphin and saw a device called / that appeared entirely full. There’s also another device listed called bazzite-nvidia-open_fedora that seems to actually represent the contents of my drive. I can install apps just fine and it makes that latter drive appear more full. But here’s the output of df -h /:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
composefs 42M 42M 0 100% /
Not sure if this is really a problem, I was just curious about why it’s happening. When I first noticed it, I tried reinstalling the operating system and confirmed that the device started appearing full before I did anything like installing apps.
Even if this is a dumb question, I couldn’t find any previous post about this situation on here, so I thought I’d say something.
