ssue with / partition being only 42 MB, completely full

Hello everyone,

I’m encountering an issue on my Linux system. During installation, I used the “auto partition” option for partition management, but I’ve just noticed that my root partition / is only 42 MB and it’s already completely full, which seems quite strange to me.

Is it normal for a root partition to be so small? Is this a common issue for those using the auto partition option? I’m also wondering if this might cause performance problems or if it’s something I can easily fix.

If anyone has any insights or solutions for this kind of situation, I’d really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Entirely normal, no issue here.

This is a known issue with how the root directory is shown in Fedora Atomic. No need to worry there - just pay attention to the free size in your home folder.
