Bluetooth: No Bluetooth Adapters Found

Hi! New to Bazzite and Linux in general so i am a bit of a novice here.

I recently built a new computer and initially had windows loaded on it but couldn’t get past its installer so opted to switch to Bazzite. Everything works great save for 1 problem.

I know the motherboard has an onboard chip-set for wifi and bluetooth. Bazitte detected the wifi just fine, but can’t see the bluetooth device. I was wondering if someone more knowledgeable than me might know what do do here.

Here is the motherboard in question I have running. https://rog.asus.com/us/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b850-i-gaming-wifi/spec/

It doesn’t help you but I have the same device and same issue. Already tried rebasing (which failed) and a reinstall from a medium that did work at the time.

I installed windows as dual boot to see if bazzite was the issue. And it wasn’t. The issue was also there.
So in a last effort I unplugged my computer from the power for 12 hours and this solved my issue.

I did unplug it before but not for that long.

Hopefully this helps you too.

If you have dual boot it is usually mandatory to check that windows fastboot is disabled in windows power settings. If its on it can cause issues sepcifically with WiFi/bluetooth adapters

Thanks for the response inffy. I have disabled fastboot in windows and I also disabled it in my bios to be sure. No change.

If im not mistaken, this acts as the wifi controller and bluetooth controller.

OMG this was it! It’s working now. (Rather than 12 hours I just flipped the power supply switch off and held the power button for around 10 seconds to drain the cap)
