Hi all,
I’ve been running Bazzite for the past few weeks on my system and I think it could be great, but I have some issues I can’t seem to solve that hinder my day-to-day use. I was hoping someone would be able to help me troubleshoot.
It’s a new machine (which could be part of the problem), an X870E motherboard with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and 32Gb RAM, with a Radeon RX 7800 XT card.
I have intermittent USB issues where my keyboard and mouse refuse to connect. Unplugging and re-plugging sometimes works, sometimes not.
The onboard WiFi and Bluetooth don’t work yet either. I’m using a Bluetooth dongle to use my HORI pad Steam. Similarly, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
The system is also taking a very long time to get past the firmware
stage and the initrd
stage on bootup. I’ll copy-and-paste some system info in my responses below. Hoping anyone can help, since I really like using Bazzite (I was using Manjaro before, but the low-maintenance aspect and gaming-focused approach is what I would prefer). Thanks in advance!

Signed up just to bump this thread; I’m having the exact same issues. I’ve been using Bazzite for months now, and probably around two weeks ago, the system boot time is longer, and Bluetooth is no longer functional. My readouts look pretty close to OPs… hoping there’s a fix for this.
