When updating via ujust update I get error (Disk space)

Error: Transaction test error:
installing package libva-nvidia-driver-0.0.13^20241108git259b7b7-2.fc40.x86_64 needs 16KB more space on the /usr/share/doc/libva-nvidia-driver filesystem

Error Summary

Disk Requirements:
At least 1MB more space needed on the /usr/share/doc/libva-nvidia-driver filesystem.

(I have plenty space)

You need at least 3% free storage of your total drive to update.

I have the same problem when updating my Fedora distrobox.

I have over 90 gigs?

This just started happening to me, as well. I have plenty of disk space so that can’t be the issue. Is there a good way to debug?

One thing to note that may be relevant: My home directory is mounted on a separate drive (Both drives have many GB of space).

@Andrew_Pintado @JohnAtl are either of you doing that, too?

No, my home is on the same drive as root and var. I do have a bind mount to a folder in my home folder, but that should be unrelated to distrobox.

I’m getting this as well. And removing and recreating the container via distrobox assemble (or ujust assemble) does not really fix it. Running ujust update after recreating the container will land on the same error.

So far the only thing that seems off is that the directory /usr/share/doc/libva-nvidia-driver in the container is owned by nobody:nobody whereas everything else in /usr/share/doc is owned by root. Doesn’t seem like that would be an issue, however.

I reinstalled for another problem, and this read only error on my Fedora distrobox doesn’t happen anymore.
