Update to 42.20250529 stable fails

Latest update fails. I get this when I try to update Bazzite from 42.20250522.0 to 42.20250529

Doesnt seem to find “lact” and update fails

It updated for me, but then the controller stopped working, so I have to plug in a keyboard and mouse just to revert back to the previous version

Uninstall lact, update and reinstall lact

Thank you Zetarancio for input. I did that and the error didnt appear again, but it didnt update to 42.20250529.1 I am still on 42.20250522.0

You could try to use the reset feature, this would remove the layered packages and then you can reinstall them

Try running the updater again, the Bazzite releases had 42.20250529.2 from 5 hours ago (and according your post here you last tried 8 hours ago). 42.20250529.1 doesn’t exist (anymore?), perhaps due to some issues. Either way the updater should work correctly now.
