Really slow update pace since 42.20250417

Is it that updates have slowdown? I’m using Bazzite-dx, it’s been a great experience so far, I’m only worried that some LayeredPackages are blocking new updates. Can that happen?

I’m a long term Linux user/tinkerer (since early 2000’s) and is my first experience with an atomic distro, and I am truly impressed, usable and mostly unreakable system. Congratulations to all the team!

Thanks for any response guys

That is the latest release. As of this post.

Thanks for the clarification! So, even tho I’m in latest, bazzite-dx recieves updates from stable?

I didn’t notice that you were on bazzite-dx.

Here are the packages for bazzite-dx-gnome. The latest one came out on the 19th.

If you believe updates are blocked, you can run rpm-ostree upgrade yourself to see what’s happening.
If updates are blocked, the first thing to try is rpm-ostree reset to bring your system back to stock and try updating again.
