I wanted to share my recent experience with the bazzite-deck install on my ROG Ally.
I’ve been checking for updates since I installed Bazzite and have always been told I’m on the latest version (stable, 20250121). When it told me again today that no updates were available, I got suspicious. After some research, I found that there had been several stable releases since then.
I did find this Reddit thread about issues that people were facing, but my issue seemed to be different.
Luckily, running ujust update seems to have solved it, but I did have to boot into Desktop mode and attach a keyboard to achieve this. I am now on the current version.
I just wanted to document this issue. If it persists, I can keep this thread updated.
