Sunshine resolution non standard (appolo)

Hello,

I love bazzite but I have a big issue with streaming game.

I have now a tablet for streaming on it. But my HDMI dongle (monitor) haven’t the tablet resolution on native (3000x1920). I try to force with the command :

sh -c “kscreen-doctor output.HDMI-A-2.mode.3000x1920@60”

It’s not work (KDE goes back the old good native resolution).

I see than Appolo can work in this resolution because it use virtual monitor and not a physical monitor (dongle here).

But appolo is not in bazzite, just sushine.

What solution can I have ?

I’m guessing you are trying to set a resolution that is not available on your monitor. Thus what you would need is a new edid file that you can use to create a virtual monitor with the resolution you desire. See: Sunshine on Bazzite with virtual display · GitHub
