Rebase into Aurora from ublue Plasma issues

So, I decided to try KDE/Plasma from my ublue install, so I rebased from ublue (38) to latest Aurora-DX. While everything mostly came up, let’s just say the desktop was less than a spectacular experience.

There was a LOT of GNOME cruft left. SDDM was still starting gnome and there wasn’t really a good way to get plasma started cleanly. I’m sure there is a way to clear out the cruft, but I didn’t have time at the moment to sort it all out, so I rebased into Bluefin-DX and got back to a sane state.

Maybe some docs on how to deal with the clean-up when re-basing from bluefin to aurora (or v.v.) wrt desktop environments may be in order.

P.S. The only reason I am interested, btw is to get my touchscreen, which is NOT my primary display, to actually work under wayland. Thank’s Gnome :frowning:

Greetings Christopher!

The most straightforward we can do right now is to create a new user and copy the data over.
