Problems with gaming ( resolution , keyboard)

hello ,i have problemst with the resolution in gaming ,i tryed 2 games ,dark souls on steam and civilisation 6 on epic game store.
The games look blurry i think its running with an low internal resolution ? change resolution in game does hardly anything.

I testet some applications on steam but the interface on the applications is tiny not readable.

And when i open the epic games launcher my keyboard does not recognize key presses every second or so , or its repeating keys, if i close epic laucher the problem goes away.

i use a nvidia rtx 4070 , and a monitor with 2.560 x 1.440 resolution ,keyboard is a be quiet light mount.

What version of bazzite did you pick? Sound like you maybe picket the Steam game mode version:

I just setup Bazzite last night on my PC. I am running 3060ti with Ryzen 5 3600 on Gnome, so it is a similar configuration.

I have a 4K monitor, and the scaling was set to 150%. When I opened Insurgency Sandstorm, the game was very blurry and weird.

I thought it was an issue with the game, but I later found out that it works perfectly fine if I set the monitor scale to 100%.

I see you have a 1440p monitor. Not sure what the scaling setting is out of the box for that, but I would check and see. (This is just in the Display settings)

I reinstalled with KDE instead and things worked better out of the box for me. Insurgency had no issues even with fractional scaling on.

i set the scaling back to 100% and civilisation 6 is no longer blurry,but dark souls stay blurry.

i will try the KDE version, ty.

for the keyboard problem i found this ,its maybe a bug in the keyboard firmware:

i installed the kde version and there are no problems with the keyboard and resolution any more.

but the instalation was a pain ,the installer was at a wrong resolution i see only half of the screen and i have to tab and guess.

i have my tv and monitor conected to my pc , the first time i booting the tv was the primary ,i disabled my tv on the settings but on my monitor was no taskbar ,if i set my tv to primary the taskbar was on my monitior.had to make a new taskbar on my monitor and delete the taskbar on my tv then i can disable the tv in the settings.

And the fonts in kde are fuzzy and the letters are not “evenly” example : the M letter, one side of the M is tighter. i tryed different fonts and sizes ,aa off,sup pixel rendering and hinting nothing makes it better.
