No signal when selecting 120hz, goes back to 60hz

Hello!

First of all, I’m very noob with everything linux so bear with me.

I have a pc with AMD gpu with a Bazzite Game mode iso installed. TV supports 120hz and is connected to pc with Cable Matters DP to HDMI 8K cable.

If I go to desktop mode and select 120hz tv loses signal and then recovers but goes back to 60hz.

What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately I’m having the exact same issue with an AMD card and the same exact adapter.

Did you manage to find a solution?
