I’ve got Atuin running in my Bluefin terminal, but notice that recent comands take a while to appear in the history. For example, if I run a command and then hit the up arrow to try and retrieve that command, it is not there. Nor are most of the recent commands I have run. The most recent command is 25 minutes old, despite the fact that I’ve been using the terminal continuously. Anyone else see this? Is there a setting I need to adjust?

I’ve encountered this as well. Running a command like ll or lm seems to start it keeping history again (oddly).
Hmm, did not work here. Its now been well over 2 hrs since any of my history has appeared in Atuin. Anyone know of alternatives to Atuin that may be worth exploring?

I think this might be an issue with ptyxis as I’ve noticed similar behaviour before but when I switched to using konsole (on kde / aurora) atuin shell history is updated properly.
Appears to be, yes. I switched to Ghostty and the problem goes away.
Also, for those interested McFly is a nice alternative to Atuin.
