Installed the latest build of Bazzite onto my AOKZOE 1ax, the built-in speakers produce no sound, but HDMI output or headphones work fine. Tried various solutions online with no luck. Thanks, brothers, any help is appreciated! QWQ

Same problem on ChimeraOS. Funny thing, I think it worked at the beginning but am not fully sure. I tried fiddling with all the controls in alsamixer but there’s no change.
I found that a dual-boot setup is necessary. After booting into the official Windows system and adjusting the audio enhancement settings, the speakers started working.

Hi! I wonder if you turn audio enhancement on or not? I am facing the same problem with you, and I only have single Bazzite. So I decide to re-install official Windows and changing the setting.
By the way, did you install Biazzite OS in TF card or something?
The issue is still present as of kernel 6.16 in September 2025. I ordered one and mine has to go back because that is a dealbreaker for me.
AOKZOE has a BIOS update for A1X on their website, the direct download link is here: AOKZOE A1X Audio Driver - Google Drive
It seems to have fixed the problem for me, using the current version of Bazzite. As far as I know the BIOS update needs to be installed from Windows, but then you don’t need Windows anymore.
