Monitor getting huge blocks of random colors out of nowhere

EDIT: I had my secondary monitor turned off. I turned it on and the problem went away. I will fiddle with it some more and see what happens and let you all know. Seems to be a multi-monitor problem. One of them is 1440p and 180hz and the other is 1080p and 140hz. Maybe that’s causing some issues.

EDIT#2: Issue is pretty much caused by multiple monitor setup. If I turn off secondary monitor either by power button or by disabling it in display settings, I get this glitch effect in a few minutes.

Hi everyone,

In the past tried Fedora a couple times and recently wanted to try Bazzite. It has been a nice, plug and play experience so far. No issues with installation thanks to previous experience and the brilliantly done installer.

However, I have one small problem. When pc wakes up from sleep, or after gaming or maybe even randomly (not sure yet,) I get huge blocks of solid color on screen. I recorded a video in case it helps. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Gs7xKSRkDOat2HKR_1CPrmVF-0L2Ymbg/view?usp=sharing

First it happened after waking up from sleep. Afterwards it happened after gaming for a while and closing the game. Restarting pc helps but only temporarily. Here are my system specs:

Literally installed today, didn’t make any modifications whatsoever. The reason I went with Bazzite is not just its gaming performance but also the fact that it is image-based so I don’t have to fiddle with much to begin with. Any help is appreciated!

So far the gaming experience has been clearly superior to Windows 11 so I would be very happy if I could solve this problem. Thanks in advance!

Can’t edit my post anymore, but I think the problem is due to the setting called “Color Profile.” Set it to “none” and there is no problem anymore. I am not 100% that setting did the trick, but it has to be one of the settings in the “Display Configuration” page. Just set everything to default and go from there I guess. Hope this helps someone.
