LFE not working when virtualizing 7.1 with hrtf

Hi, I’m new to Linux and need your help.
I created a 7.1 surround virtualization system using an hrtf file (Dolby Atmos, retrieved from here Airtable - HRTF Database ) and used the script in the .config/pipeware/pipeware.conf directory to activate it.

The script hesuvi is this: Making sure you're not a bot!

The spatial sound works perfectly, but I haven’t been able to get the subwoofer effect to work. Any script I try to change it gives me a “rear center” when testing on Bazzite, and no sound when I try LFE tests on YouTube.

Can you help me?
SO - Bazzite
Headset - Logitech g935

If you take a look here on Reddit there is a guide to implement the real AC3 surround support on Bazzite!

Try to take a look. For me it’s a little miracle! I don’t know if this works also for headsets…

Thank you!

I’ll try this way and let you know the result.

Sorry, not work for me

Hi i have your same headset and same pipewire config.

I think you missed the correct filename path.

in filename = "hrir_hesuvi/hrir.wav" you must replace the with your hrtf file.

i personally choose the dts one and my config looks like this: filename = “/home/matteo/.config/pipewire/dtshx.wav”

Just replace that and it should work.
I’ve been using it for two years and it works well.

Sure, it was obviously done… In fact, everything works, my problem is only with the virtualized subwoofer effect. There’s something in that script that’s not right in my configuration.

That’s really odd.

I’ve double-checked, and we’re using the exact same setup.

My headphones are working perfectly.

Have you tried another file? Perhaps the one for DTS?

Yep… dolby atmos, dtsx and OpenAL…. Nothing to do, no bass from LFE channel
