Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio Open Source Alternative directions?

Hello I was thinking maybe it would be appropriate to have a board open for any tidbits of information anyone has found regarding Spatial Audio support/development/etc. to build up a database that will hopefully fuel more development towards this space. Kinda like how it did for older audio formats that have been built up.

I know this is an old topic, but is ujust setup-virtual-surround, Easy Effects, and JamesDSP not cover this case?

ujust setup-virtual-surround works on Bazzite but not on Bluefin (or bluefin-dx). However you can set up virtual surround sound using pipewire yourself. See this guide as an example. Or you can track down the just recipe setup-virtual-surround on Ublue’s github.
