How to use ZFS in UBlue?

Hello,

May I ask if someone could please assist me with setting up ZFS in UBlue systems?

I was happy to read from the docs that ZFS is supported but apparently manual partitioning during setup isn’t advisable. That was how I setup a ZFS partition in Ubuntu. What would then be the recommended way of using ZFS in UBlue?

I realize that I could just create a ZFS partition in a separate disk but that approach wouldn’t work in my single disk laptop. As such, I was hoping that a better method existed.

Its been over a month now, even if no other way of using ZFS is available, could someone please confirm that? I just wanted to know if a better option existed.

Using ZFS in a partition instead of creating a pool from a single or multiple disks isn’t considered best practice.

If you mean ZFS on root as the default filesystem, that’s not supported.

I see, thank you very much
