Would it be possible to install Bluefin and Bazzite on the same hard drive? I would like to have these on separate partitions but on the other hand I would like to keep it as close as possible to what is the result of the automatic partitioning. Is there a documentation somewhere that I missed that describes what would be a manual setup required to achieve what the automatic partitioning does?
The following is what I’ve got on my Bluefin with the automatic partitioning.
Thank you @inffy. Do we know what kind of issues I can expect when running two atomic installations on the same drive? I managed to get through the installation and systems seems to work, at least for the moment.
This is what I have at the moment. Bluefin partitions are at the beginning of the disk. Both Bluefin and Bazzite have all partitions separate, including /boot and /boot/efi.
I think ujust install-gaming-flatpaksis only available on Aurora. I have installed Steam and Lutris flatpaks and they work. I just wonder is Bazzite better for gaming compared to Bluefin in anyway? Does it make it easier?
Huh. I thought bluefin had it as well, I guess not. do you have anything that doesn’t work right now? You can also flatkap install org.freedesktop.Platform.VulkanLayer.gamescope if you haven’t already. I would worry about bazzite only if something doesn’t work out of the box for you but as always up to personal choice. I tried bazzite for a bit but I’m not much of a gamer myself.
