I ran ujust cockpit and Cockpit works instantly. Great.
But how do I get Podman support in Cockpit? I tried installing rpm-ostree cockpit-podman and rebooted. That didn’t help. I removed it again, because I then also realized that ujust didn’t actually install Cockpit via rpm-ostree.
So Cockpit works via ujust, but how do I properly add the cockpit-podman extension?
Does anyone know how to do this?
The ujust command installs cockpit as a container. You are probably better off writing a compose file to be able to more control volume mappings. Something like this. I do not run cockpit on my desktop so I can’t give much more advice than this. If you are just looking for a docker-desktop esc way to manage podman containers have you looked at Podman Desktop?
I also use podman-desktop. It‘s a good tool!
