Error at the end of install when dual boot other Linux

Hi,

I’m trying to install Bluefin, but as I don’t want to just lose everything from my existing Linux setup, I installed it on a partition next to it.

However, I’m getting the following error at the end of the installation

"The following error occurred while installing the payload. This is a fatal error and installation will be aborted.

The command ‘ostree admin instutil set-kargs rhgb quiet root=ef6b1e2e-d99e-4411-93a2-61ac6783431fc rw’ exited with the code 1"

I removed Bluefin’s fedora EFI boot entry upon trying reinstall, but I keep getting this same error. I understand that Bluefin doesn’t like other EFI boot entries, but I can’t remove those currently as I want to be able to boot into my old Linux distro at least for now.

Any advice or help would be appreciated

Given that the issue seemed related to the EFI partition, I ended up creating a seperate EFI partition just for Bluefin.

After doing so, the install finished without errors
