Did Firefox just start working dramatically better for anyone else?

Hey there,

Been using the (Flatpak ?) Firefox that comes with Bluefin DX for a year now. Version 130, which arrived on my laptop yesterday, suddenly enabled

  • smooth video playback on non-Youtube video sites like Nebula
  • stopped the fans spinning up on Youtube itself
  • enabled a smooth overscroll-bounce effect when using a trackpad

I’ve also noticed better video playback the past couple of days!

I wasn’t sure if it was Firefox itself, or if some other part of the system (drivers, graphics/media libraries) caused it.

But yes I noticed a lot smoother video (especially when skipping ahead/back with the right/left arrows.

I turned on the picture-in-picture feature: when you switch to a new tab while watching a video it’ll pop out. It’s nice to be able to toss the video onto another part of the screen while browsing in other tabs!

Cant wait to use the V130 update of Zen browser! Slickest interface for Firefox! Very cool
