Current dual boot procedure with Win11

I know it’s not recommended to dual boot on the same drive, but for laptops, it is not always possible to install two of them.

In any case, I just performed a fresh install of 24H2 on my X390, shrank the OS partition and am ready to install bluefin-dx:stable.

I know I will need to manually partition, I just need to know if I should start with a Silverblue install (like I’ve done in the past), or if I can now use the following ISO: https://download.projectbluefin.io/bluefin-dx-stable.iso

EDIT: Also, if the partitioning scheme is set to change in the near future due to bootc or any other reason, I’m certainly willing to wait.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome! Dont stress it, the partitioning schema wont change in a while, I believe. Try following the Bazzite Docs to get some better info about this. Bluefin and Bazzite are based upon the same technologies (and installer), so the Bazzite documentation will suffice for your use case

Fantastic docs and video example. Thanks!
Typing this from bluefin-dx and pleased as punch
