Can't rebase on Bazzite from Kinoite

Hello,

I’m trying to rebase on Bazzite KDE from a fresh (& updated) install of Kinoite but I’m getting this weird error:

$ rpm-ostree rebase ostree-unverified-registry:ghrc.io/ublue-os/bazzite-nvidia-open:stable
Pulling manifest: ostree-unverified-registry:ghrc.io/ublue-os/bazzite-nvidia-open:stable
error: Preparing import: Fetching manifest: failed to invoke method GetManifest: failed to invoke method GetManifest: invalid character '<' looking for beginning of value

Looks like the first character of an unexpected HTML reply for some reason.

Any clue to work around this? My old USB drives are not big enough for the full ISO :sweat_smile:

You have a typo in the rebase URL. you wrote ghrc instead of ghcr (GitHub Container Registry). Here’s the correct command from bazzite.gg

rpm-ostree rebase ostree-unverified-registry:ghcr.io/ublue-os/bazzite-nvidia-open:stable

By the way, if you’re new to terminals, the shortcut to copy / paste on them is CTRL + Shift + C / V
