I have recently installed Aurora on my Surface Go, which works fine, but for me and that particular device KDE is not the way to go. I would prefer to give a Gnome DE a try, but at the moment there is no dedicated Surface installer.
Is there one coming soon or if not, is there a reason why?
Yeah unfortunately due to lack of maintainers who own these devices we dropped Surface support, sorry.
We still generate images for those people stuck there until we figure out where to migrate them. We won’t be generating ISOs for them or Asus moving forward.
Ah ok, thank you for confirming so quickly! It’s not an issue moving forward for me as I’m planning to get a Framework Laptop 12 at some point and will likely put Bluefin on there. Using Aurora to test out Atomic Fedora.
Yeah the 12 appears to do everything for that use case much better, I’m getting one myself! (Though I think I would have liked a kickstand but whatever hah)_.
I’m also getting the framework 12 for the same reason, can’t wait to slap Ublue on there and use it for teaching tablet style.
