I’ve seen this is a pretty common issue, but as the title says, my Alienware m15’s screen does not turn back on after either closing the lid and opening it (literally seconds later) and the screen also does not turn on after going into sleep mode. I have tried all the keyboard shortcuts that Firefox suggests, moving the mouse, pressing the power button, switched to manually block screen turn off, and messed around with other display and power settings. This is my first experience with Linux, so there is almost for definitely something I’m missing, but regardless I am in need of some help. I’m running Bazzite if this changes anything.
Check your Bios settings sometimes there is a setting that affects what happens when the lid is opened in the Bios
