Best way to install a Keyboard layout

Hi everybody,

I am trying to install this keyboard layout in bazzite: GitHub - qwerty-fr/qwerty-fr: Qwerty keyboard layout with French accents

If I follow the documentation, I guess I should use this installation method: GitHub - qwerty-fr/qwerty-fr: Qwerty keyboard layout with French accents

Though, I have the feeling this would against the atomicity of Bazzite/Bluefin.

What would be the best way to install this layout?

If someone comes across this post this is what I followed to install the layout:

rpm-ostree install alien
sudo alien -r qwerty-fr_0.7.3_linux.deb  --scripts
rpm-ostree install xkb-qwerty-fr-0.7.3-2.noarch.rpm
