Advice for Minisforum V3, on Bazzite+Bluefin

Hello,
I am planning to install both Bazzite & Bluefin on Minisforum V3 tablet.
It is a tablet based on Ryzen 7 8840U SOC, an upgrade of Rysen 7 7840U SOC, used in Steam Deck; and both SOC use the same iGPU, Radeon 780M.

  1. Which (hardware) version of Bazzite will be more compatible with Minisforum V3 tablet ?
  2. Which (hardware) version of Bluefin will be more compatible with Minisforum V3 tablet ?
  3. Will it work better to install Bluefin, and then use “rpm-ostree” to install Bazzite Gnome ?
  4. Or, will it work better to install Bazzite, and then install the individual Bluefin apps separately ? If so, then which command (yum, rpm, flatpak, etc.) to use to install Bluefin apps on Bazzite ?
  5. Or, should I dual boot, keeping dev & gaming in separate Operating Systems ?

If you intended on using the tablet as a gaming-first system, the Deck image of Bazzite should work wonders.

Anything all-AMD will work fine with Bazzite Deck images, but if you’re running NVIDIA on other hardware, I’d recommend images with those drivers built-in.

As Bazzite is running on a more up to date image than Bluefin, you may be better off with Bluefin if stability is the number one thing you’re looking for. That said, Bazzite should run fine on there.

May I ask why you like to install bazzite and bluefin?
You could install bazzite with gnome to have that DE in desktop mode?!
