Bazzite Desktop Blank After Update

Hi Everyone

I just updated my PC after about a month of being out town, and I can get into gaming mode fine, but whenever I try to switch to desktop mode, I get a serious malfunction. After a much longer spinning gear than usual I only get the Brave browser window that opens on boot, Spotify, and my clock in the bottom left corner of my screen. I will get a Steam notification, but my taskbar and wallpaper are all missing. It’s just black.

I have tried updating, rpm-ostree reset, rebasing(I don’t think I went back far enough), using the steam reset command and nothing has worked.

If anyone has any suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated.

CPU: AMD 9900x

GPU: 9060xt

have you done a file system check?

I have not, what would be the command to do that?

Solution: Right click on desktop, disable wallpaper engine plugin and change wallpaper
