Why there are no ujust toggle-autoupdate option? I have a headless PC with prebuilt Sunshine on Bazzite 43. For now I have no time to update and resetup the system. I just want to disable updates and to use the PC as it is as long as possible.
I tried sudo systemctl disable --now uupd.timer but it still reupdates the system even after rpm-ostree rollback.
You can do as I have done with version 43 while I wait for an update of the driver that control fans, and lock that version.
sudo ostree admin pin 0
Already did. But this revision just will not be deleted. It still auto updates during time.
Ah ok…interesting, then I don’t know. I pinned mine 43 a couple of months ago and it doesn’t get updates, I just get a notice that it has not been updated now and then.
Pinning a deployment doesn’t stop updates so you either have a -deck version or you have done something else.
