But the thread has been closed. This is on a MacBook Pro 2015 that works fine with a number of Linux distros. Bluefin was rolling along happily (F40) and then it stopped. I ended up removing it, and reinstalling from scratch with Fedora 41. It worked initially, but after the reboot, wifi was no longer present. Feel free to point me in the right direction! Thanks in advance.
@AllanC , this workaround on github by @GiovanniGrieco works great for me, and the broadcom module will now load automatically. Not sure WHY we need to do this, but I’m happy for a workaround. Good luck!
Thank you. I will try that – once my Bluefin installation is functional again. I thought, in preparation for this, that I would merely reinstall Bluefin, just to see. Well, that reinstallation is failing. I’ll start another thread about that. But when I’ve got it going, I’ll give this a try.
