Apple’s abandonment of “old” hardware moved me to check out Linux back in the fall. I am using an old (2015) MacBook Pro 13” for dual booting a small MacOS partition and a Linux partition. At one time, I set it to offer MacOS, Linux Mint, Ubuntu, and Fedora at startup. Currently, it is just MacOS Sonoma (via OpenCore Legacy Patcher) and Bluefin.
