Zoom Video - Screen Sharing and Scaling

I’ve been using Bazzite on KDE Plasma for a week now, its awesome and just works! I really appreciate all the clear guides for installation, especially dual booting on one hard drive, etc.

I’ve run into one issue which I haven’t found any solution for which is I can’t get the Zoom app’s screen sharing to fully work. I’ve tried the Flatpak version, distrobox, appimage, as well as layering – and applying different settings I’ve found on the internet, but still haven’t gotten it worked out fully.

I am able to do full screen share, but never able to choose and select a window to share. Has anyone run into this and found a solution?

I’m on KDE Plasma and thought of even trying the GNOME, but I read I have a high resolution display and HDR and read GNOME isn’t as good for that.

I also haven’t been fully able to fix the scaling for the Zoom App but its workable. Thanks! Look forward to any thoughts.

hi @timeless, did you find a solution?

Looks like Linux special Zoom/Wayland issue, nothing special to Blufin:

Some suggestion in above thread is to use Web client. I haven’t tested this, because I don’t use Zoom.
