Will Bazaar stay maintained?

Hi all, first - I love bazaar. And secondly - I noticed that Bazaar, in it’s GitHub repo, shows no development in the past 15+ days. That is a big contrast to before when it was updated I guess almost daily. I don’t really know if this is normal, if everything that Bazaar should have is already implemented but it made me concerned for it’s future.

Thank you for any information

Yes it will.

There was just about right now a big commit pushed.

Sorry to hijack but I installed a miniPC for family on Sunday with the Bluefin recommended ISO (GTS) and to my surprise: no Bazaar!

Is this because GTS is a year behind? I thought it just used the previous version of Silverblue but still got all the uBlue goodies that make it Bluefin.

There is no build for Fedora 41, its Fedora 42 and upwards.

I really hope it does continue to be maintained, it’s on par with or better than all the other GUI package managers I’ve tried in the Linux world.

Well I guess that is why I ask: will it be released on GTS with an update?
Or will it be released with the next version of GTS?

next version of GTS wil be f42 and its few months away so no, i don’t there are any plans to bring it to current gts

When GTS moves to F42, which I think will be in September or October.

I think there has been talk of making bazaar a flatpak itself, which could mean it will be available to us GTS users sooner.

Ooh September is in a few weeks :raising_hands:t3:

I considered going for the Bluefin weekly updates instead of GTS but prefer to follow what is recommended for most users.. I’ll wait patiently.
