Switching Between Desktops (GNOME vs KDE)

Is there an easy way to give KDE a try? I’m not sure if I want to use it or not… But I like the idea configurability options. As I understand it, GNOME is hardwired into Bluefin? There’s not a way to swap it out with KDE (even temporarily?) Would I need to setup all my apps again as well (or because it’s the same distro under it all, it would still work?) I’m learning … would this be like the “rebase” concept?

Is there a way to choose vanilla ice cream on some days, and chocolate on others? (drive both KDE and GNOME on top of the same install)

Or am I better off just booting a live USB and making a decision from there (this seems easiest, frankly?)

I would try it in a vm, or from a usb.
Switching between desktops isn’t supported.

If you are interested why it i not supported think about what would need to change in /var.

This is just one reason. But a big one.

I wrote an article here that summarizes how rpm-ostree update (and by extension rebase) manages /etc and /var.
