Hi friends. I am having trouble finding a quick and easy screenshot annotation tool for bazzite. I was excited to see that flameshot finally got an update but the flatpak doesnt seem to be working for me, i see the application show up on the toolbar and i can configure settings, but i never actually get the gui. I also installed the flatpak for annotator but it seems to not like wayland. I love the gnome screenshot tool but i’m looking for a simple way to annotate those screenshots (with shapes, arrows, text, etc) and ideally copy to clipboard for quick sharing. It doesnt necessarily have to replace the built-in gnome screenshot, i’m just looking for a dead nuts simple way to very quickly annotate images without getting into a full blown image editor.
KDE Spectacle or KSnip may work for you? I mainly use it in KDE environment, of course, but pinning the Spectacle shortcut to my panel worked perfectly as a drop-in Flameshot replacement for me.
Give Gradia a try, it seems to do exactly what you are looking for and it’s made for Gnome: Install Gradia on Linux | Flathub
