why when I turn on my pc without turning on the screen and then the screen turns on it just shows a black background and the mouse instead of booting in to bazzite
You are going to need to describe the issue in more detail for folks to help you out.
Also please provide your hardware specs for troubleshooting.
Is this a new installation?
Did you recently upgrade bazzite versions?
Did you recently upgrade firmware/bios?
Are you using secure boot?
Does your motherboard show any error lights being on? (if applicable)
If you press escape on the keyboard when the issue occurs do you see any error messages or is the screen frozen/unresponsive to keyboard?
hi secure boot is on because I dual boot and have the latest update of bazzite and have not updated the bios recently and yes it is a new installation last month and when I press the lock when the black screen nothing happens and it doesn’t seem like there are any error lights code on the motherboard, the strangest thing is if I have the screen on before I turn on the computer it works
Are you using an nvidia GPU?
Have you used DDU in the past to remove drivers?
Yes and also has an Nvidia graphics card but that will be some time ago and the computer has been wiped since then

Hopefully with the next version of plasma (6.6.5) this issue will be fully resolved. It might be another week before it lands here though.
