I’m doing some low-ish level audio development, now that the magic patches that musicians have been using for decades are finally in the mainline kernel. What Pipewire tools ship on a Bluefin install? I’m building Ubuntu containers at the moment with command-line tools like wireplumber
, but I’d like to do some things on the host.
in the Software centre, they have these listed under a Pipewire search.
HAven’t tried to see if they work as I have no need for advanced audio routing at the moment, but it would suggest that some/most of the Pipewire packages are installed?

Coppwr and Helvum are the two I’ve seen mentioned in a number of places. I’ll probably try those first. The containers are going to use Wireplumber; I mostly need something in the host to troubleshoot the inevitable “no sound, dammit!” that happens all the time.
wireplumber should be already there.
For GUI stuff, flatpaks should be able to hookup.
