I thought I’d ask here first before plunking down some hard-earned cash
Has anybody had issues with “No Man’s Sky” on Flatpak Steam on Aurora?
Appreciate any issues you may have encountered!

ProtonDB says it’s Gold so I would doubt there would be any problems unless your GPU is problematic (Intel ARC series can be a bit finnicky.) I highly doubt you will have any issues. My only advice is using GE-Proton if you encounter any initial issues with Proton Experimental.
This post also made me realize I don’t even worry whether a game will work or not (unless it has kernel level anti-cheat) anymore. ![]()
Enjoy the game!
Thanks! I’ll probably wait till it goes on sale. Normally it’s $60 bucks but the price history shows it goes on sale (down to $24) every month or so.
In this day an age, I want to make sure stuff actually WORKS before I plunk down my hard cash. ![]()
You can actually refund games on Steam if you play for less than 2 hours, if I am but mistaken. So you could try and refund if you have any issues.
I haven’t specifically tried No Man’s Sky on Steam flatpak, but I’ve tried others and so far haven’t really had any issues with flatpak.
FWIW, works great on Bazzite. Lots of content these days.
