No Man's Sky on Steam Flatpak Aurora - Before plunking down money... any problems?

I thought I’d ask here first before plunking down some hard-earned cash  Has anybody had issues with “No Man’s Sky” on Flatpak Steam on Aurora?

Appreciate any issues you may have encountered!

ProtonDB says it’s Gold so I would doubt there would be any problems unless your GPU is problematic (Intel ARC series can be a bit finnicky.) I highly doubt you will have any issues. My only advice is using GE-Proton if you encounter any initial issues with Proton Experimental.

This post also made me realize I don’t even worry whether a game will work or not (unless it has kernel level anti-cheat) anymore.

Enjoy the game!

Thanks! I’ll probably wait till it goes on sale. Normally it’s $60 bucks but the price history shows it goes on sale (down to $24) every month or so.

In this day an age, I want to make sure stuff actually WORKS before I plunk down my hard cash.

You can actually refund games on Steam if you play for less than 2 hours, if I am but mistaken. So you could try and refund if you have any issues.

I haven’t specifically tried No Man’s Sky on Steam flatpak, but I’ve tried others and so far haven’t really had any issues with flatpak.
