Need help with broken package concerning LACT

this pops up every time in the terminal whenever i go to update I’ve tried to reinstall LACT to see if that was the error but it seems like a broken package. I’m up to date currently on this application 0.5.5 is the latest so any help to fix this issue would be appreciated.

Having the same issue as well. LACT is stuck on 0.5.4.

Trying to update LACT via ujust update seems to complete the update:

Running ujust update again LACT is still marked as “Inactive base replacements”.

Try this:

  • uninstall LACT with rpm-ostree uninstall lact and reboot
  • install LACT with ujust install-lact and reboot

I don’t know if I tried that specifically I Will uninstall it and reinstall. I will let everyone know if it works.

That did install the new version of LACT, so thanks for the info!

However, the same version of LACT is still marked in “Inactive base replacements:”

I followed a discussion on the Fedora SIlverblue discourse and reset the LACT package using rpm-ostree override reset lact-0.5.5-0.x86_64

It seems to have worked and LACT 0.5.5 is no longer marked in “Inactive base replacements:”
