Unfortunately my laptop froze on me again and after a force-restart I have noticed some data corruption. Specifically, starting chrome complains about a profile error and I noticed:
❯ md5sum ~/.var/app/com.google.Chrome/config/google-chrome/Local\ State
md5sum: '/home/user/.var/app/com.google.Chrome/config/google-chrome/Local State': Input/output error
I am not sure how to get btrfs to repair the file-system (there may be other issues besides that file). Is there some ujust recipe that forces a check on boot? Should I boot from a USB stick and mount/check my home from there?
