Mdns (Avahi) on Bluefin

Any suggestions on troubleshooting mdns (e.g. .local hostnames like nas.local, mylaptop.local, etc.) in Bluefin?

When I first installed Bluefin on my Framework 13 earlier this week, it worked, but after a few updates, it stopped.

I now get errors like the following:

❯ ssh nas.local.
ssh: Could not resolve hostname nas.local.: Name or service not known

I can see that the avahi-daemon.service is running, and I’ve tried restarting it a few times.

avahi-browse --all just hangs and doesn’t return a response.

Interesting update: I just tried avahi-browse --all while plugged into ethernet and it worked. So this must be related to wifi.

Just found this wifi issue post on the Framework forum, so I’ll bet that mDNS broke when my kernel updated to 6.14.3-300.fc42.x86_64.

Can you open an issue on the bluefin repo to share what you found there?

The core team will appreciate it.

Just posted this as an issue on the bluefin repo: mDNS on WIFI and Framework 13 · Issue #2555 · ublue-os/bluefin · GitHub

I also bought a refurb AX210 module for testing.
