I’m unable to launch Lutris games (Running on Wine) in game mode due to a known issue of 0.5.18 not working in game mode… However I can’t downgrade the Lutris app due to it being within the RPM or something, does anyone know a fix?
The RPM is built into the image, due to the complexity of dealing with 32-bit dependencies. The main alternative is to rollback/rebase to an image with Lutris from a previous version, but unfortunately that’s too old.
The only other alternative is to: a) Use secondary Lutris from Flatpak and then use Warehouse to downgrade it; b) Use secondary Lutris in a Distrobox and choose a version before the latest one; c) build your own image removing the default Lutris with a manually supplied RPM of Lutris’ previous version (not recommended, is a hassle).
I’d recommend trying in that order if it works as a stop-gap until Lutris releases a new version. None of it is ideal, but hopefully we get a new release soon since the last Lutris release was last December?
Understood! Thank you for making that as straightforward as possible – for now I will look to install a new Lutris from Flatpack, hopefully it’s easy enough to move the game across to the other Lutris. Thanks again, really appreciated.
Managed to download the Lutris 0.5.17 version and the game runs smooth. But how do I transfer my saves over? They aren’t appearing now in the steam game version…
I give up - Lutris 0.5.17 saves the game files in OneDrive, and causes issues with the game that I can’t work out haha. Will have to just hang on till 0.5.20 of Lutris.
