hi, idk where else to report this

first, KDE/desktop environment randomly crashes for no reason, I’m just navigating internet watching videos doing random stuff and then toolbar bliks for no reason, then disappears, then whole desktop goes black, windows still open (web browser, steam etc.) but no desktop nor toolbar i had to restart the pc every time

second, KDE wallet is so annoying, so i disable it from system settings, but when i do that Opera web browser stop loading web sites, its like it depends on KDE Wallet to work but i don’t want to put a password every time i visit google wth.

Did you manage to solve it? I have a colleague with the same problem, but on Aurora Linux.

first bug no, still there

second one (opera web browser not working without kde wallet) was solvet by itself, it just works without kde wallet now for no reason

You’re definitely not alone in the first issue; I’ve experienced it multiple times, typically while watching Youtube videos in Chrome but also while listening to music. There is a report of it on GitHub (KDE desktop is turning black and crashing. · Issue #3234 · ublue-os/bazzite · GitHub) that suggests it’s related to the media player.

That said, I’ve not experienced the problem at the moment - I’ve been installing system updates pretty scrupulously so I’m hoping it’s something that has been fixed down the line.
