Install Open VM Tools?

Hi everyone,

I am trying to get Open VM Tools installed in Aurora. I have googled but nothing I try for Fedora works for me. It’s also not in Discover.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If I understand correctly, you have aurora in a VM, and you want to install the tools on it ?

In that case, you should use rpm-ostree (Installing Software on Aurora | Aurora)
It is not recommended because it’s not in a sandboxed but in that case that make sense

So something like rpm-ostree install open-vm-tools,

reboot and that should work
